I've bounces around with different styles for a while but I actually really love how this looks, all sketchy and gritty. I just got my new scanner so yay, expect to see more doodles now. but I drew this sketch at work and got the idea to scan it and color it, but rather than inking the image I simply played around with the contrast then put a filter on it and colors underneath with shadows on top and I really like this. I'm thinking of doing AS like this, A. because it looks cool, B. because I cut out the line art part altogether in favor of a more stylized approach that takes less time.so yeah alex and riku enjoy

not only that im still having a hard time trying to draw something moving and stuff and i know your not to amazing with it either but your still better than me
GAAH I wish i was up in arlington because then i can focus a little more on drawing and i will actually have friends who will be there to help me by telling me what they think needs improvement
these are the times i wish you were still in Texas YOU WOULD HAVE HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY
and knowing that you are no longer in high school we would have had a lot more free time to draw and improve

This is an Amazing pic. I Love how much your style has changed. Personally I prefer inking but he way you do this it Awesome.
Random question. Why does Riku's upper body look green and her tail blue? Is it supposed to be like that?

I think that green effect has to due with the colors settings on your computer, I placed a yellow, low opacity, gradient and slight lens flair on the image to illustrate sunlight so on your computer the yellow may be mixing to much with the blue

it would but the gradient i used was round and didn't quite reach alex but i didn't feel like fussing with it too much at the time

I know you live in America but this is what it's like here in England at the moment :3 And I know what you mean Lineart is so boring and really a more sketchy drawing looks more professional anyway. Also what job do you have that you can doodle like this and get away with it

I work at a sex shop so when traffic is slow there's not much to do so I can get away with doodling to pass the time

There are some posters with adds for DVD sales but not many, that being said the DVDs provide me with good reference images for adult artwork so yeah I'd say working there has helped me learn to draw those sorts of things. And don't worry about it if you're curious about something you can always ask

There is no shorted of curiosity when it comes to me one of my many down falls. Though I never really thought about there being DVD's as well... I just had this image of a small shop with tinted windows on a high street that has a kinda suggestive name but if you didn't know what the shop was about it wouldn't sound adult so it's like a secret shop... Β

Nah it's a big gray building, says total X adult superstore on the outside but there a hot pic of a hot couple frosted onto the glass door and once you walk in its real pretty inside with dark purple and lavender everywhere and lots of decorative displays showcasing anything from toys to langerie. We even testers for some of the toys, lubes, perfumes, body paints, ECT so that you can touch, taste, smell, different products

I guess it would be easier if it was all in one place and now I think about it Deep Purple and Lavender are more appropriate for the bedroom then Red anyway. Though I can't imagine the testers being used a lot only brave people :3 There is defiantly nothing like this around here which is weird because I live in a dock city so we should get lots of different types of shops...

All you do with the tester's is turn them on and feel them in your hands, and people play around with them all the time

I guess that makes more sense you want to get a feel before you buy something. You don't want dissatisfied costumers.Β
