Description Well I finally got around to rendering a character manipulation of Thistle Galena If any of you've read Huntress you'll know why she chose to stop aging at such a young age and looks so small and innocent even though she's really the same age as Jez Redfern and is one of the most dangerous members of her gang >:] For those of you who haven't read it, you'll have to read the book and find out

Huntress is my favorite story. I mean, it's my second favorite. I love Ash too much for Daughters of Darkness not to be my favorite.
And I don't like Pierce... Good for Jez for killing him!

Thistle is a very interesting character with a story just dying to be told Plus that and she's a true Night Worlder in the way that she uses her ability to stop aging to fool her prey which makes her an extremely deadly and respected character among fans So I'd say your pretty cool for having her as one of your faves

yeah she's awsome.
I wish there was more fanart/fanfiction about her. There's just so much to work with.
Isn't she a made vampire thou? Or is he lamia? I was never quite sure of that.

She's a lamia, she just chose to stop aging at 10 years old It's stated so in Huntress

Thanks I'm glad you like how I've rendered her It's scary though how underneath that innocent look is a ruthless female vampire waiting to draining every single drop of blood out of every human she lays her hands on *shudders* O_O

It's a pity there isn't more fan art of her on the internet though She's definitely one of the overlooked characters when it comes to Night World fan created works and often when she is portrayed her characterization from Huntress is passed by for an older version to make her seem more interesting and fit in with older teen rated fan works where she decides to age to get a boy to fall for, when really she's already an interesting character as she is and if L.J. Smith decides to make her age again Thistle may end up a lot more grown up (in the worldly wise sort of sense of the term) than her former self but with a personality made of steel and will have done so for her and not for a boy or a possible soulmate I hope that all made sense
