to brutally honest i don't see how this represents Poe or the tv series at all, other then the raven in the image, looks more like a greek god, and the tv series they are from Asgard which is a Nordic Realm

It's the raven perched on the bust of Pallus like it clearly says in the poem and the style of the work goes well with the decor of the house. The flowers are just a personal touch and not very relevant but it ties the picture together nicely and made it stand out from the other portraits of the raven perched on Pallus.

Regardless, the poem referenced a Greek god. The point was to illustrate a scene or element from one of the three stories that you feel would be seen in east end. If the artist changed too much, it wouldn't be very relevant to the poem.
