I wouldn't say that you are still learning, as it looks really professional! You seem to have worked with colours for a long, long time~!
Great work, by the way! I love the colours you used and the resemblance is obvious! One more thing, I love to see works in progress!

She is all ready now, but I am going to a Dog's Trust training night, so will submit later

Oh the colours look brilliant! The only critique I have is that I think perhaps her hed is a tad too big for her body but I havent seen the reference. It will look great either way though

Haha thanks! I'll try one day... but you know, colored pencils are expensive if you buy nice quality, and we know nice quality has something to do with the outcome of a drawing. I already have Prismacolor pencils, but I feel like I don't have enough variety, I would need to buy another set. I'm still not decided wether it is worth it or not.

You're right, the expensive pencils are the best it seems
Polychromos are supposed be great, I'm going to try them I think ...
I know what you mean, if you buy a big tin of pencils, try them, hate them, it's a total waste of money!!
