Ages ago people may remember I posted an AngelCrusher Munny design.Well I also finished actually painting the munny up ages ago too, just havent gotten around to taking a photo. Well here it is. Really happy with how it turned out. The hardest thing were the eyes, I never considered the shape of the munny's head on the design, and its really hard to draw on that curve.
Also, I messed up. I sprayed too much primer to protect the paint, and now it looks like he is constantly dusty.

The most Ironic thing about this?... I'm making my own munny right now! But mine's for a class I'm co-teaching now. All the students (plus I and the teacher) are making munnies too! They're quite nifty things, arent they? XD

i saw a class in uni making munnies and there were some great ones there, really creative with sculpting extra parts on and stuff. You should post a WIP of yours.

I should. It's got all the basic sculpty on it now. We just need to fire it up and sandpaper it down.

Yeah, it's so hard to figure out where the eyes should go on a featurless surface.

I will be joining an animation placement scheme in january which will be giving me money to train and also finding me work placements, most likely in dinamo i reckon where i will basically be doing paid work experience. It will be 4 months long, keep me busy and hopefully teach me something that I can expand upon.

The animation placement is with skillset, so we wont actually be making a film like cyfle do, we will just be individuals sent out to learn things that we specialize in. There were only 2 animation placements so I was lucky to get it. Its situated down cardiff bay, so aint too far from everything.

First off he looks great! i want one of my guys like that! and as for the extra primer...maybe u can spray some clear coat on there to smooth him out some!

The primer is supposed to be clear. I sprayed it once and it was fine. i thought once it dried, i'd spray it one more time, just to be safe, and ruined it. lol
