Beyonce folks!Based off a costume in her new video, 'Video Phone' [link]
She has loads of great costumes in it, could literally make a series of images, but this one stood out to me the most. Its like Beyonce just wants to ramp up the sex appeal in all her recent vids...and lady gaga looks like a skeleton.
Anyway, drew in photoshop, inked in flash, then back into photoshop to finish her off. Based the pose off a Beyonce pic to get her 'tude. Really happy with how it turned out.

thank you very much. You can use the pose as reference if you want, just dont trace or steal. You can credit me and the drawing in the description just to make sure no one harasses you too. Just try not to make it look exactly the same with the pose, reference it, but then see if you can tweak and adapt it to make it work for you. Have fun.

I think she is working too hard right now, always touring, crazy dance routines, pressure to keep wearing crazy and revealing outfits.

haha, yeh, the video is crazy with those rapid cuts, definitely isn't right. I think gaga has been working too hard since hitting fame and is losing way too much weight.

Gaga had more weight in "Paparazzi" at least that was what I thought. On the other side it was strange to see her face at all.

A slightly awkward stance but overall very nice work. once again your grasp of the feminine shape has improved - especially the face which has no trace of the vague boyishness that used to afflict your lady pictures.

thanks man. yeh, trying to improve with each one. Finding eyes are difficult to get right, but I'm getting there. Didnt know what to do with the legs aswell for this flat on look, so thats why it probably looks awkward.

It is awesome which probably means there is some small penis out there that will steal it, its just a shame that death is not the penalty, I would take on the profession of executioner to bring those bastards to justice!

thanks alot man. yeh, crazy costumes in her recent vids since single ladies really. Its like she wants to be really out there and sexy in her recent vids. But this costume definitely stood out to me, but i could literally do a pic of every one of her costumes in her new vid, they all look good.

While I like the wonderful illustrative technique of this work, I will say boo to the subject matter.
Yes, I am a Beyonce hater. Mostly because IMO she is a self-hating black woman and she bleaches her skin.
But I also see more of a social statement of pop culture too.
I mean, for a while I have seen photos of celebs dressing up like Cartoon characters, getting plastic surgery, looking like anime characters, many of them also model themselves after a character (Remember a while back when people were doing alter egos?)
I also want to say, the Videophone video is horrible. Compared to music videos in the past, I have seen much better.

lol they wear striking costumes that are better than my imagination and they have a fan base.
Her shoes were odd, they were big platforms, but the soles were different from usual heels. Perhaps i didnt capture them right.
