Description 11 out of 12, nearly completed the challenge! Woohoo!
I don't know if the term 'Mingers' is just something we say in the UK, or if its worldwide. In that case, in means ugly people. And its hard to see but he is wearing mistletoe on his hat.

Anyway, one more to go, hurrah!

Hmm... I've never heard the word minger used before. I guess here in the US we'd just say "ugly people" cuz we're not creative enough to have a good word to describe someone ugly...

AngelCrusher In reply to TalosAT [2008-12-15 12:33:54 +0000 UTC]

thanks. its quite an ugly effect. i didnt really think it through. i got away with it because this image is scaled down 50%, but the real size looks awful. lol

TalosAT In reply to AngelCrusher [2008-12-15 17:31:29 +0000 UTC]

well I was focusing on the redness and sharpness of his hat compared to the background since it stood out and caught my eyes ;D so the rest isn't really that noticeable

Thanks alot man, just one more to go and I am done. Woohoo! A flipbook...as in animate them? Or just get them printed? I hope to publish my comics one day, either collect the first 50 as originally planned, or possibly just to the first 100 since I have been making alot of strips recently.

AngelCrusher In reply to Scurge-UW3 [2008-12-12 17:16:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeh, didn't think. Alienated over 50% of my watchers by using UK slang. lol

Scurge-UW3 In reply to AngelCrusher [2008-12-12 19:08:02 +0000 UTC]

it's understandable it's like if I where to say "he's retarded" which slang for "is he stupid or something to do that" here in Boston. I could also be used in "that's retarded" which means that it's not fair or it was cheap. Just a brief little intro on a common slang word here.

heheh, well, "minge" according to the Urban Dictionary has a filthy, filthy meaning. And in garry's mod multiplayer Half Life and other modded games, "mingebags" refer to the snot-nosed kid modders who go in and cheat their way into making everyone's lives miserable. So... in a way, the shirt's kinda appropriate... however, not for your UK version lol.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

AngelCrusher In reply to lethe-gray [2008-12-12 17:18:44 +0000 UTC]

lol yeh...thats another meaning altogether! I guess its more pronounced 'Ming-Ah!' by rough uneducated brits. ^_^

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

muaka1 In reply to lethe-gray [2008-12-12 07:10:11 +0000 UTC]
