I made the mistake of drawing this in a very very thick sketchbook (which I usually avoid doing) and now there's this big grey smudge on the edge.Crossover POTO and Shugo Chara. Little Erik and his guardian characters. Yes another Gerik because skeletons (Leroux Erik) are easier to draw than burned-and-wrinkled-up-and-completely-messed-up face. I wanted to try copic-ing that messy skin. The mismatched eyes? For the lulz. I like mismatched eyes. I know Gerik doesn't have mismatches eyes.
The unopened one is the "normal person" character. You know, if he didn't end up being the Opera Ghost and terrorizing everyone. If he had focused more on his humanity rather than his darkness, his gentle side.... or something like that.
The other charas scare him, that's why he hides.
Why do I suddenly want to make a doujin out of this?

I can tell what each one represents
The first one, reprsents his mysterious, artistic side as a opera writer
The Second (don Joan) represents the flames and passion of his soul
The Third (Red death) represents how angery he is at the world due to his face and how isolated he is
The fourth represents his humanity, and how he is actually a gentle, sad and timid boy

Makes sense. I've always thought each costume represented a different personality, though I wasn't particularly thinking of that when I drew this.

Shugo chara is like "the person you could have been if you tried". So.... yeah. and they can do this "become character" mode where you become the person you can be, but to the highest extreme, kinda like superhero transform. so hahahaha.
