A member of the Vaemorphs, but one who was successfully freed from his slavery.

When Jam and a group of individuals were sent by Earth-United to a hidden Majestic base in Australia to capture a group of scientists who worked for the organization. However, the base was a trap - with Jam and the group getting captured by "The Tyrant "; A Majestic back-up system gone rogue and with plans of its own to dominate all life with its own creation; a genetically engineered species of Vampire known as the Vaemorphs .

Thankfully, Jam and his allies were saved by Polar - a previously deceased friend of Jam - who, with help from Maria , was reincarnated into the body of a human clone that had yet to be transformed into a Vaemorph - regaining his powers shortly after and managing to defeat a group of young Vaemorph that were preparing to feed on the group by trapping them in a large block of ice.

Returning the frozen Vaemorph to Earth United to study, with it been discovered that all the Vaemorph were enslaved under mind-control through a Hive mind - controlled by the Tyrant, Jam's old enemy Panther and the first Vaemorph, known as Adam Stoker.

It was then decided to see if they could get the Vaemorph on Earth-United's side by severing its connection to the hive mind. Transporting the Vaemorph to the Astral for the procedure, they found they had to overcome one major failsafe; a shell program designed to cause the Vaemorph to violently self destruct in a plasma explosion if its connection to the hive was cut off.

To deal with this, the Digital Angel created digital avatars of Jam and his allies to go inside the Vaemorph's cyber-mind and prevent its commands from reaching the Vaemorph's brain while the Digital Angel and Xor'ra worked on severing the program.

The plan proved successful, with the shell program destroyed and the Vaemorph cut off from the mind control but still having a connection to the hive mind. The Vaemorph, upon recovering its memories, agrees to help as its wants to save its enslaved brethren - with Jam naming the creature 'Blackwing'.
