you ever just steal a warped gem destabilizer and stick it in your hair so that you can hide it but use it as self-defense since you're a lanky-ass frail gem criminal on the run?me neither
(i guess it's canon now that muted pearl stole a gem destabilizer that was warped (read: bent) and decided to hide it in her hair bc she's a quirky little defective pearl and needs to defend herself from spooky gem authoritarians)
(also i used the abandoned kindergarten that the off-colors used to live in as a basis for the background color)
