Wow! This is really amazing! You captured Kea's personality very well and it was very well written. The whole idea about Kea keeping the flute and even in the end being buried with it was genious. I loved how you made Zoshi appear in the end, mourning over Kea's death. I really enjoyed reading this!

Wow, Gabby! This is amazing! I never knew you were a writer. Why are you not doing this for a career? This story was relaxing to read, even though that may sound weird, it was. There was a couple of places where I noticed missed commas, but other than that, I really can't say anything is wrong with this. Keep it up!

Thanks Trev, considering I wrote it at like 4am and in about 30mins, a few missed punctuation I can live with. I used to tutor English in college and I also wrote and beta'd fanfiction for a while but my health got messy and I lost the ability to focus - this is my 1st piece in over 2yrs.

ah! such a Victorian style tale! I love it! I want to draw a Pyle or Gibson style illustration for it >Thank you so much for the first fanfic I've ever seen for Devil's cake, it is wonderful<3
I'll keep improving my writing so i don't disappoint brilliant authors like yourself with my story ;^^<3

*Bows reverently to the creator*

You are kidding right?? I am no brilliant author, just another troubled soul with a penchant for Classical English Literature; hence the reason I can do Victorian in my sleep.

Your prose and art on this webcomic have inspired me to write again, to venture out and express my soul in words that may never be seen or understood by anyone else but like I wrote with Kea - it's what and how I feel that matters most.

Thank you so much for your praise and appreciation.

Thank you so very much. I don't know what possessed me to write it. I have not written a thing in over 2yrs but something about Kea made me feel... empowered I guess. I love Angi's storyline and the art is just brilliant, so I figured what the heck - it was actually a lot easier than writing anime fanfiction.

I hope you didn't think it was too depressing or moody.

oh no. i found it to be wonderful. it fit Kea (at least the Kea i see) to a T. and i could see this being something that happens. i really loved the being buried with the flute. <3
