This is hand crafted by me from the series Princess Ai. It was a pain in the but to do, but hey! I did it! woot!

-Everything to the last detail is done by me. Colored the beads, hand crafted the box, painted by me, and chains and lock re-colored aswell.

I get asked alot of the same questions and since peoeple dont bother to read other peoples posts/questions. I'll post a F.A.Q. about this peice:

[How and what material did you use for the Ai box?]

---The box it's self is made out of ceramics hand made by me. Since I couldn't find a gold glaze I just fired it with a clear glaze then, I used a base coat of pray paint then gold pray paint on top of that. Then believe it or not I used nail polish for all the red you see then a crystal clear finisher for the shiny look. The gold beads also needed to be spray painted so they matched. (same for the chain and lock) Also finished with a clear finisher. It was hard but so worth it! I plan on making the box again one day out of metel since now that I'm a metal smith. And I also plan on making the necklace that Ai gets out of the box also has out of metal.
