Wonderful... really, his gaze is simply perfect. the eyebrows, the eyelashes, the eyelids (and yes, the very eyes too 
It isn't perfect, especially in the cloak and the hood, which are less detailed and seem more blurred; and yet it all makes the face more wonderful.
Your art is inspiring, really. Thank you for sharing it.

I agree, my biggest problem right now is my impatience. Need to work on that for sure so I one day get all the details done like they are in the reference pic.

yes, I understand impatience - it is so common in every form of art! slowly you'll reach what you want, that's sure and evident from what you've accomplished here.

Wow, this is amazing.
the only possible criticism I could offer is a bit more black space. the face is rendered so well, but with more variance in the greys-black range you could really add an extra layer of depth to the drawing.
Don't get me wrong though, you really nailed the creepiness of this scene and the overall drawing.
