At first sight I thought it was a 3D picture, but it's matte painting. Wow. I don't know the movie but this picture has got mystical fantasy written--or painted--all over it

This is all 3D!.
This version changed a lot in the movie. At the end resorted to a mixture of 3D and matte paint. Even more realistic ...
But that is in the final version.
