Entry for 's contest. Sorry about the crappy waves
What I think about black and white and meaning of this pic:
This girl is a doll, a very pretty doll that everyone wants to play, her life is filled with bright, vivid colors. Black and white is slowly taking over her (The reason her legs are gray/black and breaking) She is also 'flowing' down a black and white river, and when that river ends, she will be a completely black and white doll that no one will like to play with. I believe that black and white also means dull and boring, and therefore have a miserable life, so I obviously believe that color is the way to go
Also the reasons he is turned that way- she is breaking

First off, I love the girl (doll) and the pose that she's in on the waves~ Even her hair seems to be flowing with them, which is a very nice touch <3 And her expression is so beautiful~ You did an amazing job with it!! ^w^
The picture definitely fits your concept, and I like how your having her sort of fade in from behind to B/W; it fits very well ^-^ Also, the whole idea of placing her on a B/W river is a great one <3 And finally, I love her simple clothing! It's too cute~ >w<
