Description I heard yesterday
That you were on your way
To giving up and ending it all
So many complications
With too little explanations
For such a sorry girl to feel so small
And this taste is bitter sweet
Of realization and disgust
So many fallen hopes
With the misguidance of simple trust
And she's screaming into the dark
Love me, Just love me, please
But her insanity goes unheard
And its bringing her to her knees
So she's been wandering through these eyes
And dissolving her heart in a paper dream
Wondering how great love must seem
To those who hear, but ignore her scream
And desperation is only pathetic
When there's no one more desperate than you
When there's nothing left you can do
So what if the world is cold
It's the fact that nothing's quite true
But one thing I’d wish right now
Is that somewhere I was freezing with you?
And written upon this fantasy
Is an epic story lined without seams?
But who will be there to hold me
When I'm writing these paper dreams
So tonight I’ll sleep without stars
Tonight I’ll wake without a scream
And no one will be there to hold me
When I crumble this paper dream

I dont normally read poems on DA, but this piece was beautiful.
also rather sad (as in un-happy) on whats the theme is about

thats a very well written piece.......the idea with the two perspectives is neat.......reminds me of the movie secret window.. in th eend it runs along the same lines...check it out if you havent seen it......its a great movie

wow, that is beautiful... one of ur best, i'd say... i esp. love

the flow, diction and imagery were wonderful in this poem... it really grabs you and pulls you in... amazing job
