Wow... where has the month gone already? Hard to believe it's already day 29. And if you guys think my work on day 23 was a hassle, lemme tell ya. THIS was far more of a pain for all the details I put into it as far as the background.
Here we have Rosa as the Goddess of Seasons. Persephone is one of my favorite deities, and I used her as a model for this. Rosa's element is earth, primarily wood and metal. But her respective season among the set her armor belongs to is autumn. As such, Rosa herself is dressed in autumn colors - red, orange, gold and black. And because of the background in the doll maker, it seemed perfect to make her the returning goddess at the beginning of spring. She's still dressed in her autumn colors from her time in the Underworld, but around her, the colors of spring are making themselves known. She has roses in her hand as a reference to her virtue of love, and an iris to represent the hope that spring seems to embody.
