Hi,
Did you know that an NYPD officer placed an unarmed man in a chokehold, killing him? The whole thing was caught on tape, but a grand jury failed to indict the officer. The NYPD prohibits chokeholds -- but the officer remains on modified leave, doing desk duty.
I just signed a Care2 petition asking the NYPD to take a real stand against brutality and fire him. Will you sign too? Here's a link to the petition.
