"Today was Monty's funeral. As a way to say goodbye, we got together one more time this morning. This is how we want to honour him. Not just because he inspired us, but also because this project had really strengthened the bond between us as a group of friends and all of that began with RWBY. So like his wife Sheena said, we won't dwell in our mourning, but we'll keep his spirit alive through creativity. To all the fellow fans; keep on cosplaying, keep on drawing, keep on passing his dream."

This is a lovely Tribute to Monty. I didn't really get into RWBY until late in the game and when I found out that he died, I was really sad about it. If I could tell him that is animation and creativity is amazing in making of this show that I now love.

Death reaper: life or death Monty is still living in are hearts the hearts of the people. the hearts of his team. the hearts of his friends and the hearts of the characters his created in this world. i can feel the emotion the world his created for as and the characters we love in are hearts in are memory. and a old saying goes. life goes on where you go but for me well is OK to say goodbye but you did a very good job Monty
