Thank you so much! I'm very happy to hear that We worked for months on it with trial and error since we had some problems with the transforming system... in the end it only works one way but we learned so much! I'm definitely going to work on this until I'm fully content so this sure isn't the last photo

yeah... I can totally imagine that making a weapon prop for a cosplay is one thing... but having the weapon prop function as in the game/show is something different entirely!
we can only improve from our past experiences, and make an even more awesome one!

It's a challenge, but it keeps the creativity flowing! We noticed it's actually easier to use metals but cosplayers never settle for easy do they? Haha (And I don't think it's legal to own a gun-scythe in my country)

uhuh! and I completely agree with the metal part... afterall... her scythe is also made out of metal and not from wood xD
but yeah... dutch law says: hier met die zeis! XD ik denk niet dat je op ook maar 1 conventie toegelaten zou worden... laat staan dat ze direct de politie bellen om hem in beslag te nemen XD

but perhaps for photoshoots and indoor decorations it's an option?

Tja, mijn zeis is gemaakt van foamboard en pvc-pijpen en zelfs dat is al te zwaar voor me om op te tillen omdat hij gewoon zo lang is XD En daarom durf ik hem uberhaupt niet mee te nemen naar cons behalve bij Animecon. Tsunacon zou op zich ook nog wel kunnen, maar op Abunai is het onmogelijk om door die nauwe gangen te lopen met dat ding zonder vijf mensen in hun oog te steken (en het plafond is te laag). Laat staan als het ook nog eens metaal was, dan willen ze me minstens vijf jaar niet terug zien denk ik XD

En haha ja, moet wel eerst even de loterij winnen

ach... op zich zijn foam en pvc wel toegestane materialen. zolang je er niet mee gaat zwaaien in de hal en gangen moet het bij abunai geen probleem zijn xD

maar als hij van metaal is zou ik wel als steward in moeten grijpen ja XD maar ik denk dat dat voor alle conventies geldt

Maar die gangen in Abunai zijn best wel nauw, en als er heel veel mensen lopen.. gaat sowieso moeilijk worden om er doorheen te komen dan  

Als hij van metaal zou zijn zou ik hem toch niet op kunnen tillen XD Volgens mij gaat de politie ook niet blij zijn ..
