Description Sometimes, even the most simple things can cheer you up.
I worked on this for about thrity minutes. At first, I had drawn me, in placement where Mickey is; but I didn't like what I was protraying when I drew myself; I looked lost, and scared, and even though I do feel that way, I wanted to show more of who I wanted to be more like. Hence, replacing me, with Mickey. Mickey is so optimistic, and grabs every chance he gets. I hpe I can gain his confidence and face the world. I really wish I wasn't so scared. ...

There was also something I wanted to address. My brother asked me today, why I draw Disney characters, instead of my own characters (uh...actually he actually said, "WHY DON'T YOU STOP RIPPING OFF DISNEY AND DRAW YOUR OWN SHIT"). This is coming from the guy who didn't like how I drew my own character, Fred...anyways.
Why do I draw Disney/Sonic/Whatever? ...Why the hell not?!
First off, drawing these characters has taught me a hell of a lot about proportions, and the stucture of cartoon characters. Its taught me to break things down, into shapes, and look at them. Its taught me to draft, and to sketch, and to keep going at it until I get the right result. Sure, I probably should be drawing from real life, but I really did not learn anything about this whole cartooning thing until I met Kyle. He really helped me, and taught me to break things down, and to look at it in another veiw. Since I've learned about not just drawing the character, but learning their basic shapes, and really breaking it down, I have improved a lot. I am great at proportions because I take care to see how many heads tall a character is. I know the shape of a character because I have seen how they've drawn them step by step. I think I draw Sonic a hell of a lot better because I saw how they drew Mickey mouse, using a beanie bag for his body, and that really helped me a lot. I know its probably not important to people when I say this kind of thing...but whatever.

OH AND THIS IS FOR MEL. BECAUSE SHE KICKS ASS, and made me relieze I'm not alone in my obsession with Mickey and Goofy...thank god I needed someone to RP them with...*sigh contently* All right. I'm done.

...*sing* Whatever you do...I do it too...show me everything and tell me how...it all means something...and nothing to me...<-- *how she feels about drawing cartoons sometimes...yay Tarzen*

Very cool....

I remember when I was little I had this program on my pc that showed me how to drew Mickey and the gang (and my favorite character was Mickey so my parents started calling my Mickey) It told me about using 'tubes' and 'beans' to make their body and limbs. It helped me alot to... *nods*

This pic is so cute! *squee*

First off, your bro needs to either say something nice,or just shut his trap Second, all great artists start somewhere, and Disney is made loveable for all ages. I know plenty of adults who still know the lyrics to Hakuna matata Glad to know this Kyle person (is that who I think it is? ) and I could help you with all your troubles.

This looks amazing by the way, perfect combination of your style and their modern look. Heehee...."Gwarsh,it's sunny out..."
