Makes me think of peacocks - not entirely sure why, but it's probably due to the likeness of the coloring of their feathers and of your image. That said, the organic feel of your renders is refreshing, and I appreciate the simplicity of the piece. I think too much post work would have completely changed the direction of your work and would have been overwhelming. My one complaint is the "light" in the middle. It seems to harsh and misguided, but maybe that was done intentionally?
All in all this is fantastic.
