Alice Carlson, a woman of age 73, collapses from a stroke and awakens to find herself in a strange land, her body now returned to the youthful state of 13. She must find her way back home to the world she knows or be trapped forever in this realm between Earth, Heaven, and Hell. Welcome to Wonderland.~~
The Cheshire Cat... a demonic seductress who tempts the lost souls of Wonderland away from the light and into the depths of Hell. Obviously Alice is unaware of little Miss CC's job, otherwise she wouldn't be asking her for directions. I had a lot of fun coloring her... that is until Photoshop died on me and I lost several hours worth of work. Had to completely redo all of her hair, tail, teeth, ears, and eyes... of course my second attempt will never look as good to me as the first. None the less I'm fairly happy with how my little seductress turned out. I have a fondness for cats so she was a slam dunk as far as drawing.
DISCLAIMER: This is a project I've been working on for my Visual Development class. I chose Alice in Wonderland as my story and Hyung Tae Kim as my artist to base my style off of. So before anyone starts accusing me of copying him, please understand that's how it's supposed to be.

Not a cat, but a woman-cat demon? FRIGGING GENIUS! And I don't think anyone thought of CC as a woman before. Now that I reread the book, I can totally hear a woman's raspy, cat-like voice instead of the Cheshire Cat from Disney.

Oh! No no no, it's just that people have a tendency to fav fanart which focuses on characters they already know and love. Original art tends to have a harder time capturing the attention of others unless it's really good, so I always take it as a compliment to know people like my work even if they don't really know the characters or anything.

The furry sleeves look amazing, I love how it gradually fades out as it gets closer to her wrist and you can see the light criss-crossing pattern gradually darken as the fur fades out.

The Cheshire Cat's a woman? Wow. Already I'm intrigued - that's quite out of the ordinary as far as Alice stories go. You did an amazing job with CC. I love how her skin/fur is colored, especially her legs. You managed to make her look both feline and human without making her into a stereotypical furry. Her costume is amazing, and her expression definetly tells me that she's up to something...
