This is definitely one of my most favorite drawings I've ever made. (Sorry for playing favorites, other drawings!) I really love that classic scene from the opening of the first Kingdom Hearts game, and I wanted to capture it as best as I could on paper. I hope I don't sound full of myself or anything for saying this, but I think this is the only portrait I've drawn in which I brought justice to the original source. Everything about this one I'm really satisfied with: the shading, the composition, Sora's expression... *Siiigh*

Well... actually, there's one thing I don't really like too much. I'm not thrilled with how his eye looks. There's not a whole lot of depth to it compared to the rest of the drawing... Oh well. lol

Oh yeah, and I remember I dedicated this drawing to `Cataclysm-X and =D17rulez ---two very talented artists. They were the very first pencil portrait artists I found here on dA, and I was just blown away with what they could do with pencils. They served as a very big inspiration for me, and they still do to this day. Thanks, guys! Keep being awesome! ^__^
