Okay, I have got to get a better scanner sometime. The greys are very clear in the original, with the missing puzzle piece clearly absent. And no matter how I tweak the brightness and contrast, I can't clear it up in the scanned version.

I had a friend die. It's been years, and I don't talk about it much, but his loss at the very beginning of my adulthood has shaped me in ways I couldn't predict. I still miss him, and I always will.

When he died, I wanted to get a tattoo in his memory, but didn't have any good ideas. It's only taken about 10 years, but I finally decided on one. I don't know when I'll actually get it tattooed, but someday it'll happen.
