This song is in my top 5 Lemon Demon songs, if not number 1. And there’s a lot of reasons for that. Mostly the Vibes™. The sinister, intense, somewhat mysterious story of a group of mad scientists cobbling together a dead rock-star with the intent of forcing them to preform for the rest of their (un)natural born days.
This particular take on the rock-star in question kinda needs a new name since I don’t like the first idea I had. For the time being, just call him his nickname “Jack-o-lantern” (On account of the zombie thing and also he has glowing eyes and teeth) He nicknames people a lot, it’s a sign of affection.
Jack has a sort of dual-personality. Not like two literal identities, but the way he acts on stage is completely different then how is is normally. Performance wise, he’s wild, aggressive and extremely dramatic. Off-stage, he’s a pretty chill guy with a penchant for nicknames.
He also isn’t too sure about his past before he died, only knowing for sure that it changed him, and his producers are trying to keep it that way. Jack has been able to find a life outside of performing, but he also has the fact he’s a mad science experiment hanging over his head at all times. Lucky for him, not all the scientists involved in his creation are malicious, but this ally of his may not be the most reliable…
