Description UPDATED:  New picture, since I recently modified my armadillo design

-----------------

You know, I need to do one of those 'Old vs New' images with a few of my sculptures...

I say this becaaauuuuse... welcome to Bobble Armadillo 2.0!!

Although... in this case, this little guy doesn't bobble... but he COULD if I made him that way.

This is, on the other hand, the upgraded design of my original Bobble Armadillo. As with all my work, every time I finish something, I have more ideas of how to make it better. I've had this concept bouncing around in my head for years. And now, I've finally put it together!

----

Roughly 18-20in in length. 2-8in wide (at the feet). 6in tall.

Crafted from 18 gauge steel. My own original design. Textured using MIG welding.

This is designed to be left as is, so it will rust if put outside.

THIS IS FOR SALE!!! If you'd like to have a little Armadillo of your own, feel free to send me a Note and I'll get back to you.

Within a garden-like environment, I can tell the armadillo is so inorganic yet at first glance pretty organic-looking too. I-I-I just, I just love the design of this thing! And btw, I just realized something. Have you seen the film Iron Giant directed by Brad Bird (have it on VHS, but don't have a VCR anymore), where one of the main character and the iron giant meet a guy that lives within a junkyard and makes metal-based sculptures? You remind me of that guy and honestly I never knew other metal sculptors like him exist, ntil now of course.

I have seen that movie, though it has been AGES since I did so. I sort of remember that junk yard guy... but not much else.

I see. Okay just curious. Btw, your name. Where did you come up with that exactly? I can't help but have a good idea where you got it from (and no, I don't just mean the "kat" part), but I'm curious to hear anyway.

My name is Angela, shortened to Angi. lol Angi Kat is my online name. Been using it in my rpg's for over a decade. Nothing really fancy about it... just my nickname followed by 'kat' cuz I like cats.

I keep trying to comment, but I can't think of anything to say...

This little guy's really cool looking. The feet, the head, the body- it's all very well-crafted!
