I've had this drawing as a WIP for a while now but seeing the announcement of DeviantART's new challenge (www.deviantart.com/team/journa… ), I think this is more than fitting for the theme!

So, what I love:

-experiments with styles, colors, and characters. Anyone watching me will have noticed that I jump between different things because I love experimenting with art

-art prompts. I've been part of many, many art prompts and they have been a huge inspiration to me. I have my own prompt group for OC-art, TheOC-pageantOfDA , and when I started that group, I created this particular red-haired OC. Her name is Alycia and she is one of my special OCs

-OCs. For as long as I can remember, OCs and creating stories with them have been a very important part of my life. For self-amusement, self-expression, and to cope with difficult situations. On DeviantART, I learnt that I'm not the only one feeling this way and I love seeing other people enjoying OC-fun as much as I do

-designs (for OCs). It's very rare for me to find pride in one of my designs, but this one I'm quite content with. It took me 30 color experiments (www.deviantart.com/angier3741/… ) to find a color scheme I like.
