Chinese New Year is almost here! I got my girl Aile on the list! This version of Aile I haven't drawn in a while! ;]

I call this one Cheongsam Aile instead of Lunar Aile, and I'm gonna call my Mega Man ZX OC Riley the same thing, if I actually do get to draw Cheongsam Riley for Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year starts on the 10 of this month with Chinese New Year's Eve being the 9, which is this Friday and I'll be getting out early on that day. And the holiday lasts for 14 days, so expect me to draw a lot more Chinese New Year-themed drawings and a little less Valentine's Day drawing stuff. ^^'

The real challenge when drawing this...is the dragon prop Aile is holding there. It's one of those Chinese dragon parade props you see at Chinese New Year festivals and parades, but it's the best-looking one I did.^^ And I'm gonna have Riley hold the dragon prop without the stick, so she'll be lifting it up to give a more playful look for a younger child like her.~

I already finished with the sketch and lineart of Lunar Angie (Rep Z) and got to the coloring part (but need to come up with a background), so I'm likely gonna finish that up completely tonight.

Oh, and in case I cannot finish up all the Chinese New Year drawings on the list for the month (which I likely will not), no worries, I'll do those in May as the Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage month like with several other Chinese New Year-themed drawings I did last year on that month. As for the Valentine's Day ones, since there's gonna be less Valentine's Day drawings I'll do compared to the Chinese New Year ones, I might be scarce on those even tho the 14 is almost here. But but even when Valentine's Day is over, I'll maybe still do some more of those before the end of the month. I mean February is the month of Valentine's Day (and Chinese/Lunar New Year) after all.
