Oh just a quick drawing I randomly thought of and decided to do. I have no school on Wednesday, which it is right now because of a Muslim holiday, so yeah I'm uploading this at 1 AM. While a few hours prior chilling in my room, I've been listening to one OST from Mega Man Star Force 3 "Wounds Won't Heal," which is a sad theme from the game, but no I wasn't crying while listening to that, and from listening, that was likely what made me think of doing this drawing of Zero, which is definitely ironic cuz I wasn't listening to a Mega Man Zero soundtrack when I was drawing him and instead a Mega Man Star Force soundtrack.

Well anyway, I didn't just draw Zero (of course, the Mega Man Zero version) here, this is something more...poignant and emotional. I thought back to that one Mega Man Zero fangame 'Mega Man Zero Rezurrection' by Iliad Games. While they are still developing the game, they have added a lot of stuff into the game like a game over screen, which is what this piece is conveying. In that, Zero collapses, letting out a scream of agony before a red Cyber Elf leaves his body, and from what one of the guys (Jack Walker, AKA the lead programmer of the game) said in one live stream I watched, that red Cyber Elf thing that leaves Zero every time he dies (when you lose all your lives I mean) is meant to be his soul, and Cyber Elves are technically the soul of Reploids. For X (yes, X is in the game as the second character you can play as), his soul/Cyber Elf is blue, and X did appear as a Cyber Elf in the 'Zero' games. Now that had me urging to draw that out, so I depicted this as Zero holding that red Cyber Elf of his up to his chest as though he is putting it back in to resurrect once again. And the title of the drawing is shown through that as well, as "Light Lost" is the name of the game over track from 'Mega Man Zero Rezurrection,' and I added "and Found" at the end to indicate that judging from Zero holding the Elf up close to his chest, it shows that the light (the Cyber Elf) has been found. Like a "what's lost is found" thing.~

It's been a hot while since I've drawn something Mega Man Zero-related that is wayy impactful like this one, showing that 'Mega Man Zero' has a lot of sense of tragedy and riveting points in the story, I'll try to draw more of that once in a while like other similar fanarts I've seen or been seeing. <3
