Found this in my computer.I had the weird idea to adapt Dracula in a graphic novel and did a couple of pages.
Here's page 1. I don't know where the others are.
I like this one, even though it's full of flaws.
Pencils and bits and pieces of paper.
Dracula, novel by Bram Stoker.

The best way to practice drawing? I still have to find it! ^^
But practicing everyday is important, sketching, sketching from life (which I don't do enough), trying various technics. Learning how things work underneath: anatomy, perspective, the basic rules. All this is kind of tedious, so it's important to find fun ways to do that.
I don't know if that's any helpful.

Woah, the first panel is soo amazing!! This must have been hard to draw! You seem to be really talented, why didn't you finish your graphic novel-thing? That would have been so awesome. I had to read the book for school and now I have to make a presentation... it would have been easier to read as a graphic novel XD But... Wow, I'm so in love with the first picture. I suck at drawing and I suck even more at drawing backgrounds and buildings. I think, I adore you^^

Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't around after injuring my hand (better now).
The book is a lot scarier than the movie, I think. No romance to speak of, just good ole' D trying to kill everybody.
I didn't finish the graphic novel for many reasons, but I don't regret it, I'd rather work on my own comics than on a novel, as much as I like it. I like novelty.

Oui, oui, points de fuites et tout et tout! Je n'y arrive pas sans! Et en fait, j'adore faire les décors, ça me rend dingue, mais ça fait tellement plaisir quand c'est fini et pas trop raté!

on voit ton amour pour les décors effectivement @__@ c'est super réussi.
Juste une question: comment tu fais pour construire des persp quand les points de fuite sont en dehors de la page? =O

Moi, je scotche des feuilles bout à bout et j'utilise une règle très longue.
Mais sinon pour les décors, il y a Google Sketch. Perso, je suis incapable de m'en servir, mais le jour où je prendrai le temps d'apprendre, je suis sûre que ça facilitera les décors.
