This is a wonderful piece and really lives up to the title.
The setting for this photo is perfect - kudos for choosing what appears to be a bed. The soft, white lighting and the yellowish pink tones also help convey a gentle mood. The focus is perfect, the model is the focal point of the image.
I like how natural the model's make-up is. It shows almost an innocence when it comes to romance; it is love, not lust, which is evoked in this image. This is only emphasised by her gentle curls and the deep red rose petals which hint at a passionate, loving romance. I also like the use of lace and netting. It could almost be part of a wedding scene.
Overall, I think this is a magnificent shot which captures a very intimate feeling.
