I'm pretty big Scary Godmother fan and I've wanted to draw her for a while, so I drew this in honor of my cat, Goatee, who passed away on October 1st 2014. I miss you, Goatee!...P.S. today is my birthday!

I love the Scary Godmother Halloween specials! I've tried to find the books but I can't seem to find them. I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your furry friend, Goatee. I think this is a wonderful tribute. Happy Birthday!

Double Thank you. I'm still finding my ways to deal with his loss, and creating this really helped me in getting some closure.
I have the comic books by Jill Thompson that you can find on Amazon. What I really want that I can't find is the Scary Godmother doll that was on Kickstarter and was funded in 2013. It's a very lovely doll.

It's so hard to lose a pet because they're so much more than just "pets'. They become our best friends. We currently have two dogs. Our first dog passed 9 years ago and it still hurts some days. I think drawing Goatee with Scary Godmother was a perfect way to keep him with you. And Scary would be honored to watch over Goatee for you!
The comic books are back on Amazon? Thank you for letting me know. When I first tried looking for them I didn't find them. I had heard a Scary Godmother doll was made but I haven't seen it yet. I'll have to try harder to find it now.
