Todd is a short young man who sports braces at the age of 19. He never visited the dentist much when living with his parents and only now when he went to see them as a young adult did the dentist actually noticed that his teeth weren’t aligned properly. That combined with his short height is what makes most people in the town of Ottonvile still mistake him for an oddly dressed teenager. Only recently did Todd actually move out and start working at a small packing and shipping facility. Though he doesn’t live alone and actually rents a small house with Jesse on the outskirts of town. Todd wouldn’t even have a job if it weren’t for his expensive hobby of collected antique wrist watches, which he proudly displays in a case in his and Jesse’s living room. It’s the one thing he doesn’t mind everyone else being completely unimpressed with. Todd for the most part is supportive and a kind of yes man to Jesse, even though Jesse is the least decisive person around. When Todd isn’t working or spending fortunes on old watches, he’s pulling Jesse through the mud metaphorically by encouraging him to get out of the house and try to make a career out of writing.
