infinished contest entry. not really expecting much from this considering that i never really finished it. it also has never gotten any exposure since it was a WIP. *for those of you who looked through the older images in my gallery, this is the actual animated version of the "Ninja vs. Ninja" concept thingy i had. I believe i made this animation sometime in 2006-07. not sure. its old.MIRAGE Animation Studio + 9" Wacom Tablet

used mirage animation studio. its quite similar to TVpaint...but both problems have their flaws. it puts out some ugly line work for the most part so that is a struggle. its like you have to unnaturally make the line better

hmmm well the torrent internet is actually a decent place to get a good discount on it (*free**) but thats up to you.... im not using it for any career type projects yet so i will wait to purchase it. like a "trial" if you will

i was just wondering, this is amazing by the way.
how did you animate it? Did u have to draw it out frame by frame?
I wana animate something but I'm not sure if flash would be the best tool. is the program you used better?

hmmmm well i did animate it frame by frame. you can do that sort of animation in flash too BUT the the lines in it are vector based and aren't as effective. I used TvPaint animation. i also have see some people do each frame of animation in photoshop too and then output it into AfterFX for the animation.
but yes, i drew it out frame for frame. Look into TVPaint or even Toon Boom. I am still trying to work out the quirks in that program.
