Description Took a walk on our first day in Rome, Italy. These ruins were directly under an existing more modern building. Quite weird for an ozzie to see such old structures.

Yep - it is fascinating for us seeing such old things. Funnily enough, met one of my mums friends in Florence and all her sons want to do is go somewhere where things are NEW. I guess the grass is always greener.
