I just fell in love with your artwork! What a great feeling the images give! Anything new on the horizon? Do you have a webpage?

Thanks for the link! I want to buy some prints. Will you have a 2006 calendar?

anhdres In reply to mauidelite [2005-09-15 06:16:11 +0000 UTC]

Here it is, I found it on the dA faq:

FAQ #551: When will the Calendar year change over for any Calendars I have submitted?

When submitting Calendars for sale, the year will automatically change in September to the next year.

Example: If you submit a Calendar for the year 2005 at the end of December, 2004 the Calendar will automatically change to the year 2006 in September, 2005.

i think the 2005 calendar will automatically be the 2006 calendar, now that you ask it... i only submit the art, so i guess that's right.
i'll ask dA prints staff about it.

i'm shocked that i don't put it into 'my favourites'. i've remembered it good and now with this calendar you reminded it to me. putting it on my desktop would be a crime? :}

This is absolutely amazing. I love the way you have with curved lines, and the flying/rushing pose of the kid is absolutely perfect. Makes me remember my days in elementary school, and the madness that was recess... Thanks for bringing that memory back to me!

I suppose I needed to bring mine too. I thnk that sensation goes along with us all our lifes.. only that it gets softer with times, or just not that absolute.

Oh goodness yes, I have been here...I know that feeling well. Scenery reminds me of a place I visited in Northern France His expression is so sublime, like he's the most content person in the world - I love how this drawing makes me feel! My apologies for not getting technical, I really don't know much about art except that I know what I like...

interesting to know it reminds you of northern france (i'd never been there) and it's soo far away.. anyway, i think the world is full of those connections.. particulary in our minds (wich i like even more). so thanks for sharing that with me. i remember feeling that way and you can be sure it feels like the most content person in the world

again, .. this is really touching me. it's like you visualize things that are inside myself..

from a technical perspective, I like the way you're using perspective in this!

fascinating piece...i love the twisting and turning going on. I normally do not like these types of works (no offense), but this one...has completely changed my mind. You can really take something and make it nice...real nice.

This turned out pretty fantastic what is it...a pencil colored in photoshop?? I love the textures you got in there and how the road perspective is just a bit off cause of the bend

Definitly, this is great. Its got a touch of surrealism, great job.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

anhdres In reply to curlyfreaq [2003-09-23 14:56:11 +0000 UTC]

yeah, maybe it's the backpack which is like rising up, gives some 'balance' so that the figure has a kind of static position like it can countinue to fall, or start to float, or just lay there in that breeze. it's an unnatural pose, kinda 'surrealist' indeed.
thanks for the comment!
