After a long day of work I've set up a small stop-motion filming set. With my cardbox from the G220fb and a small 75W lamp, and two small creatures made of Poxilina and cheap wire plus cloth from an old sock I cut for this purpose. These are the hoodfellows, a kind of legged and dressed tigit, nice, playful, and somehow stupid. But I love them. So this is a test I've made to check the real possibilities for a full lenght short feature; and above all, the performance of the JB1 as a film camera.Captured and edited in Premiere 6, then subtitled with Subtitle Workshop and finally coding and filtering in VirtualDub. The voices are recorded by myself, with some filtering done in WaveLab.
I hope you like it and I wish I can continue doing some things with these little fellows.

woah! i have to say, this is really inspiring! i'm about to do a stop motion piece for a uni project and i was having a hard time being motivated (even tho i love stop motion!). i guess i like being lazy a bit too much

This is some pretty good stuff mate! I'm very impressed. Loved the overall tone to it, and the dust and scratches just topped it all off. Tell me something, what good is that VirtualDub prog for?

That was amazing. I really liked their voices along with the little music that went with it. I think the crumpling paper sound effect just made it though, when he did his sommersault. You're gonna be an animation director someday, aren't you?

I did one with some old star wars action figures that I used to play with once.

I always make short movies now and then.
me and a friend made one once where a Campbell's soup can prostituted a air freshener can for sex!
it was hilarious the two cans met and where supposed to go to the movies on a date.
Then they when back home and went under the covers and the covers tossed around and they came out.
Then I was like "What if he hands her this five dollar bill here?", so we cut out the movies part and now it's just the sex.
