I used the soft round 45 #1 for the color overlays usually at 30-50% opacity and a tiny bit of splatter 59 pixels #2 on the shoulder and bottom part to get a speckled effect.I think I used the 45 for the white highlights too, love that brush hehe.

Wow! The choice of yellow coloring really makes the figure freakish. quite menacing indeed.
