And thus, despite being a side character introduced very late in the series, Sophia becomes the character whose design I've put the most effort into over the last few months.

After finding myself unsatisfied with the drawing I got done last week, I've decided to try and put a whole lot more effort into refining my artstyle. Particularly the line work, trying to find the right balance between the 'rough-sketch' and 'actual decent line work that doesn't look lazy and haphazard'. Also a new method of drawing hair.

Sophia has ended up becoming my test subject for this, purely because she happened to be the character I was working on around the time I decided to do this. She looks darn pleased about it too, as you can see.
