There's a stupid adorable AU going around on Tumblr . Really, it's just a simple role reversal AU (Spock as Captain and Jim as his first officer), but it's made adorable because Jim wears glasses due to his Retinax allergy and is such a dork and Spock is smitten and everything is adorkable and win.

first off, to the artist, this is probably my favorite thing related to this au i've seen yet!
to msu82: spreadin the word to try to get people to stop calling it nerd!kirk because that would not be an au. Kirk is canonically a great big nerd, a "stack of books with legs" (-Gary mitchell). His genius level IQ is the reason he's the youngest captain in starfleet history.
(not that it's actually a big deal but it is something that irks a lot of people including the tumblr user than initially made the idea popular)
