Description
As the tired music plays
And as the ringing of the bells
Puts the little ones to sleep
Silently, he casts a spell.

Quickly, he gets in his sleigh
And stealthily, he flies
O'er the light of the silver moon
And through the midnight skies.

Stopping on each roof he passes,
Digging in his sack, he sifts
Through the bits and bobs galore
To find the perfect, promised gifts.

He is laughing, making his way
To the chimney, down he goes,
this big man with a jolly smile,
a white beard and a bright red nose.

Carefully, he puts the presents
'Neath the decorated tree,
And quickly, he goes right back up
To his sleigh, so jauntily.

I saw that, from my bedroom window,
The man that came and went so quick,
Was no other, and couldn't be
Anyone but Old Saint Nick.
