it's just saying that he was a great speaker that had turned the minds of nearly everyone he spoke to. He could persuade more people than American's presidents regardless of who they were. If you studied him more, you'd know. His power was not killing but to make his country 'pure' because most jobs were taken by foreigners. And this is actually what a lot of people wish, ironically. But I guess Hitler got a little out of control and invaded other countries.

Since when is Hitler intelligent??? O_O Hitler didn't have any education! The whole reason why he appealed to the german public in general was because in essence, he was just like they were: a poor guy - just your ordinary German "Joe"...(that is before he started his political career). He made several tactical mistakes because he wouldn't listen to his generals! And in general an intelligent man would never start a war in the first place!

Point1: Intelligence does not make people good. Intelligence gives people the intellectual power to manipulate everyone around them, if they use that opportunity or not is a question of their midnset (upbringing etc). Use common sense and discard your naiive view of the world or you'll be REALLY unhappy in the future.
Point2: Do not be so narrow-minded that you base intelligence to something as pathetic as school 'education'. You are not especially intelligent if you know how to write, you are highly intelligent if you learned it in a time span shorter than average. Intelligence is NOT knowledge; intelligence is the ability to learn. Educate yourself.
Point3: There are many kinds of intelligence, one being emotional intelligence, aka charisma. That's what Hitler needed and what he had. Again, educate yourself.
Hitler did not need to be a highly educated scientist or some equation solving maths pro. He knew what happened in WW1, he knew what the german people wanted, how they react, he knew what to expect from the other states, he had his net of influences and lastly, he knew how use these powers. He used his resources in a way so that everyone who did not follow him willingly was either too scared to admit it or was killed if he/she did.
Sounds simple and common but I want to see you try to convince the people at your school that killing all jews in your city will result in better grades for everyone.

No, I do not think that education = intelligence. But I also don't believe that cunning = intelligence. The fact that Hitler was charismatic to many Germans says nothing about his intelligence... (actually the term 'intelligence' itself is not well defined - since no one still knows of the inner workings of the human brain...).
Anyway, it is well known that the truly intelligent man chooses wisdom over power. Hitler did not do that...he murdered millions of people, destroyed vast territories, and wasted a lot of resources... After World War II Europe's economy was severely damaged and they had to rely on the US for support... Mind you, every participant in the war had lost a lot in terms of lives, resources, money... (Germany itself, the US, Japan, ...should I still continue?) Now, please tell me: was it clever to start a World War? Is it a good idea? You see: it doesn't matter who wins - all parties loose!!!
Instead of coming together to fight against Nature (natural disasters, global warming, hurricanes, vulcano eruptions, comets, ...etc), we people are fighting each other! WTF?! To me, that sounds incredibly stupid...and not in any way intelligent...
And on a side note, an education can and does make people smarter (if they use it...). Higher education forces you to think about the things you learn, not just learn them by heart and that's it... People who did get an education (again, if they studied well) usually find it easier to solve the same problems that others spend hours on...

You didn't, I did, because it can be compared what Hitler did. He convinced the people that jews are evil and that erasing them will somehow benefit them. So, if it does not take a higher form of intelligence for doing just that, everyone should be able to.
Again, my point: There are many kinds of intelligence. Just because he wasn't that much of a brilliant strategist doesn't mean he wasn't intelligent. Just not 'oh, I can do fancy maths equations in 2sec' intelligent. 'EQ' is an actual term to describe it and both, high EQ or high IQ, are recognized as seperate forms of higher intelligence.
Also, by definition, 'cunning' means 'clever' which means 'intelligent'. You need to be intelligent to be cunning, fact. Just think about it: How should someone who's got the mental capacity of a noodle convince 5mil people that killing jews will improve their financial situation? Or, as a different example, manipulate politics in a way that will benefit him in the end? Luck? Magic?
I think your view of things is highly naiive and reflects the worlds situation in no realistic way. It is basic human nature to use whatever resources you have to archive your own goals. Humans are not nice, they are not kind. Just look at all the people who have the real power in our society; Politicians, dictators, leaders of big companies, religious leaders. Are you saying that these people are dumb because they act for their own good? Are the scientists who have developed the nuclear bomb dumb because they worked for money and created that thing?

You think that humanity fighting itself instead of the common enemy is stupid? It is, judged on an emotional level. On a factual level it cannot be supid because if it were, we wouldn't have the technology which enables us to wage war against ourselves.
A persons natural sucess in school is determined by his/her IQ. Someone with a lower IQ must work harder to keep up. AKA someone with a high IQ can actually appear less able because he/she was either too lazy or didn't get the opportunity to learn the tools for even faster working. But, if motivated, he/she can learn at least twice as fast as anyone else. Meaning that yes, someone who is educated can work very fast but only if they have the mental capacity to do it. That is why you only find two types of people in higher education: People with a high natural ability to learn and those who are hard workers. Which is just what I've said before.

Interesting view of things...personally I think that people can learn to control their own emotions (and act rationally)...although I can understand that this may be harder to do for women than it is for men...
Your next argument is illogical because if all the resources and willpower (that was wasted in the many wars we people waged over the centuries) were to be put into our own development...then maybe we'd be already capable to leave our solar system...or do some other cool stuff...
And finally, I'd like to point out that my view of the world is at least several times more cynical than the average one you can get on the street...yes, I know that on average people are only interested in their own gain... But sadly, this will hurt them on the long term...a society which is based off on cheating and lies cannot survive - it will eventually decay...
