Pretty much haha. Sans has always been cautiuos of anyone looking after his little bro. He's just that protective

We won't know until the next chapters tbh. Anything's possible xD That's why everyone is making up so many theories

Hmm while playing, it made me wonder if Kris is actually just a grown up Frisk or Chara? If they're related to each other at all. Some people have drawn Kris as a fusion between Frisk and Chara. Like they put their souls together. And that's why Sans probably knows them even if he claims he "hasn't met them before". It's strange..
Now I feel like I might've drawn Sans being a bit too harsh to Kris but I drew this comic as a joke in the first place anyway xD

But yeah why not? I'd love to have Sans allowing Kris to become good friends with Papyrus and also getting along with Toriel :3

Well, Sans has his "scary side" after all, and usually is when we're not expecting, so, even as a joke, is apropriated.

Yeah... "who is Kris" is the one of the firsts questions we do playing deltarune, after of "What the heck is going on, here?". They seem to have Chara's personality but Frisk's skin color... And if you notice, we don't have much flirt options anymore. I'm not sure, but I guess is kind of Frisk's personality. So, IDK, maybe Kris is a total different person... I mean, monsters never was sealed in Underground, so Chara, Frisk and any of the other humans fell in Mount Ebbot. 

Sans does the same thing to Frisk. The first thing he do after meet Frisk is asking them to hang out with Papyrus. Maybe Sans feels bad for Papyrus having difficult of making friends (for some mysteious reason, cause Paps is a dear person. I'll stay with Zarla's guess).

I was pretty confused when I first encountered it. I thought it was grown-up Frisk but renamed it to Kris instead or something lol

Yeah that's right. It's very sweet. Especially when Frisk and Papyrus end up being best friends. I can picture how heartwarming it must've been for Sans that his lil bro finally got a friend
And at the end he even becomes friends with Undyne. Honestly this makes me wanna make more comics with Sans and little Papyrus! 
Zarla definitely brings up a good theory between these two

Yeah, same here. I thought they was Frisk growed up. Actually, a lot of things came to me head during the game XD.

Actually, he already was Undyne's friend. She tell Frisk that she aways stayed at Papyrus's house when she used to go Snowdin. But stoped because the coutch was unconfortable and Sans went to go a lot in the kitchen for snacks during the night. What is interesting cause propably Sans is a insoniac. What makes more SANSe that he naps a lot. Also, Papyrus alread knew that Undyne was in love for Alphys. They seem to be very close, they just got us into the party XD.

But yeah, besides Undyne, Papyrus doesn't have any other friends, and when he befriends Frisk, a lot of others friends come up to him. So Sans must had be very happy to see that his promise wasn't in vain. He really got simpathy for Frisk at the end of Pacifist ending. At least, is what Asriel said.

He absorbed all monster's souls and could feel what those souls feel. He mades a list of monsters who "trully loves and cares" about Frisk, and Sans was in that list. That's just so adorable. I even got thinking about what Sans says at the date

"Take care of yourself, cause someone really cares about you."

At first I thought he was talking about Toriel , but maybe wasn't just her. Papyrus got really atached to Frisk, and he doesn't accepted the possibility of Frisk leaving the Undergroung. NEVER. You don't see Papyrus encoraging Frisk to leave... And probably he told that to Sans. I think all those things of

"You got food, drinks, cool friends... sometimes you should just accept what is given to you"

I think this makes more sense for Papyrus than for Toriel. Cause he don't talk to her during Frisk's journey. So, maybe he was trying convince his brother's friend to stay. And maybe he also was starting to care about Frisk. I don't doubt he would invite Frisk to live with him and Papyrus in case of Frisk giving up to leave Underground.

Oh yeah I remember now. But Undyne was mainly worried about Papyrus for being too much of a softie  for a Royal Guard role. I presume eventually they became besties after so much training they did together. I'd actually like to think that Papyrus possibly started to dream of this role from a very young age? Even when he was a babybones? Makes you think. It's fun to think of theories

Sans has no time for naps when there's little brothers and kids to be worried about. Running around his house. I am really into the whole "over-protective" dad/big brother Sans so I wouldn't be surprised if he was worried Undyne was a bit too rough with Paps sometimes xD

Yes, Sansy was definitely one of those monsters who cares even if he was really "low-key" about it. He even admitted that he's rooting for Frisk at the end hehe
Hmm other than that little death threat he threw on Frisk, yeah he seems to have cared in a way 

"You got food, drinks, cool friends... sometimes you should just accept what is given to you" 
- Doesn't he say that during the genocide fight? I could be wrong but lots of lines were coming out of him and you could see how very heartbroken he was.
He wanted to have a nice comfy life on the surface with Frisk, Papyrus and everyone else..It's so sad. His hope was lost. (I never did a genocide run for a lot of these reasons)

I think Sans trusts Undyne. He is a "face reader", a judge, he can read people's intentions. Undyne seems to be very careful with Papyrus, that's why she maked up those "cooking lessons" instead to be honest with him and told him why he couldn't be a royal guard. Honesly, if you think about it, she is just like Sans when it comes about Papyrus. In one of the neutral endings, Sans hide from Papyrus that all of his friends were dead, telling him that they were on vacations. I don't agree with the way they are with poor Paps, but... well, not important. Undyne seems like a Big Sister to him, a very protective friend. They seems very close friends, Papyrus in a lot of neutral runs, show true concern about her. In those ones she dies, he ask about Sans all the time where she is, he ask us to bring her back, that he misses her a lot (it's really heartbreaking). And in one of them where she get depressed, he got so worried about her that he suggests Undyne to avenge the human. (Seriously, Papyrus, a very pacifist kid,  suggesting vengeance... that's heavy stuff). Sans even tries to help her, giving her a job... But of course, that's how I see the situation. hehe.    But I can get it... I also have protective instincts for Papyrus, so... I think  he is those kind o people that makes that to people who love him.

Well, it makes sense when you say that he wakes up cause he is worried about paps... We know that he don't sleep much, and Sans even read bed time stories for him. Maybe to get Papyrus to sleep, maybe he worries about that.

You and me both, kid. XD ... I just love the paternal/fraternal Sans.

- There's a lot of references of the genocide run on Pacifist, and Pacifist references on the Genocide. That has the intention to makes us fell guilty. In genocide, he says that he thought maybe we were evil cause we don't have cool friends, bad food and jokes... So that's why he tries to be nice to us even if he already knew we were bad. That's really sweet and sad... Poor Sans. In the Pacifist ending, Undyne says that fighting with us was the best thing ever happened to her. If you're doing a Souless Pacifist, that maybe hurts...

I would say more, I never did genocide and any of killing neutral ones... there's some neutral that are worse than genocide, cause, wanting or not, at the end o genocide they are all dead, they are not suffering anymore... That's why I love horrortale, show some consequences of a nasty neutral run... I have a soft heart, I can't kill any of them...

Sans certainly is a good observer. Just like he could read Frisk's expression through all those fights. He doesn't remember resets but he does know what's up
Yes. I really love the way Toby interpreted all of the relationships between characters in such detail! 
And I am 100% with you about the way Papyrus is treated. He is no fool and he can handle or deserves to know the truth. It's not fair. He is old enough and not that naive. If you are kind-hearted, does NOT mean you are automatically naive :c Sans should not underestimate his brother although I suppose his big brotherly instincts get the best of him and he just intends to protect Papyrus's innocence.
I still like how at the end of the Pacifist ending, Undyne just casually decides to live with the skelebros. Just "Yeah i'm moving out, my house is on fire n' all" haha I love it. They're the best uvu

I can't play Genocide idk I care about the characters too much. I know they aren't real but still, freakin Toby makes us care with all that dialogue and remembering the previous timelines. That's good writing for ya I suppose 
But yeah Horrortale really interprets this well. Noone has made an AU like Horrortale. Neutral endings can sometimes even be worse than Genocide ones as you said yeah. You either take everyone's misery away or you free them all. Just don't let some of them suffer. This game really gave us loads of choices. No wonder so many AUs and theories exist in this fandom...ho boy

I don't know why Sans and Undyne thinks that Papyrus can't deal with rejection and deception. Cause I see him different. I can even imagine the scene... I would write it up, but nah, I won't do that with ya. XD. But, if you pay attention, Papyrus KNOWS very well that if the human get captured, they die. I think they lied to Frisk when he said that didn't know what would happen when they were delivired to the Capital.Or he was lied to himself or something... Cause he got really hesitent to capture Frisk, and when he befriend them, the says that Undyne has a "mourderous opinion" about Frisk. Also, when he reports to Undyne, we see him begging to Undyne to not kill Frisk, if there's no other way. I imagine if Sans knows that Papyrus is aware of that. No... It's no possible that he don't...

I think that this maybe happened more than once. Those cooking lessons were dangerous enough with Frisk petting vegetables, imagine Undyne and Papyrus together. haha XD.

Yeah, me too. Toby made us care about this characters a lot. That why he made the game for, really different of some GTA, for example.  XD. My LOVE must be veeeery high in Sans Anders.

The worst part on neutral runs, is that you think you are beeing mercyfull to some characters, but... you're not. And really hurts how we can made them hate us for that, like Undyne and Sans. Man... Sans is pretty salty

"Don't come back here, you're not welcome"
