Unconciously it's also a reference to the second AIW-book, in which she enters Looking-Glass world through a mirror and everything is spelled backwards.
Sadly for Alice, I read on PH-wikia that she's based on the Red Queen, which means that Ecila is based on the White Queen.
Translation: Alice is based on the evil queen and Ecila is based on the good queen.
I have a feeling PH will get a WHOLE LOT of mindscrew, well more than it already has, just like Crimson Shell got.
And Crimson Shell was MochiJun-sensei's first manga.

It's just a case of some things I've read that come together in my head and actually make sense.
I'd suggest checking out PH-wikia, that's where I found out that Alice & Ecila are based on the Queens from the 2nd book.
Chapter 63 from the manga finally shows Ecila's wish, so it could be that she's nicer than people think or even shows to be/wants to be(?).
Crimson Shell was amazing, I agree.
Again from PH-wikia, a whole lot of characters from PH are based on/ are simillar to characters from Crimson Shell. Ex. Alice & Claudia, Oz & Shion, Echo & Les, etc.

And yes, I know Kuni no Alice, but the website I read it on stopped having scans of it, I think, so I've never read it since. Do they have the game in english? Depending on what game counsel they're on, I might get it if they do.

Mangafox has completed Kuni no Alice. Though not much people like the ending...
The games ere not in English, only in Japanese. Though you can download Atlas and AVG, so you can sort of understand the game with broken english (this is only possible on the pc).
I did read about some group fantranslating Joker no Kuni no Alice, but that'll probably take a while.
The manga "Are You Alice?" has a thread on mangafox in which multiple people said that some of the characters reminded them of PH characters.
It has got a completely different story-line, but it's still funny.
Jack from PH reminds me a bit of Enju from Rozen Maiden Traumend, but that's probably because of the looks, their jobs and the fact that they have the same VA...
Fun fact: Break & Emily's VA voices both Jokers in JnKnA. Vincent's VA voices the Tweedles in in KnA and the March Hare in AYA?

I knew it! According to PH wikia, Glen is based on the Red King.
Since I love AiW, I read (the summary of) the second book and noticed that the Red King sleepd the whole book.
And we know that Glen often dozes away, so I thought: "If it where based on the 2nd book, Glen would be the Red King...".
Glen is the Red King, Alice is the Red Queen and Ecila is the White Queen.
Now I have only 2 questions left:
1. Who is the White King? (It's not Jack. He's based on Lewis Caroll)
2. Aren't the King and Queen usually married? Then that means...

It'd be MINDSCREW! Sort of... Some people are kind of guessing that Alice is the Lacie that Glen wants to bring back, because in the original AiW-book Lacie was used as a refference to Alice.
There's a bigger chance Alice and Oz will end up together than Oz and Gil or Alice and Glen.
(Though I'd like to bring Elly back alive, because I think he and Alice would make great friends...)

It's the prettiest cover so far and the volume has the reincarnation of (the suspected bad person) on the cover.
Suspected, because it's MochiJun-sensei and it's possible that it'll turn out that Oz and Jack were the bad people all along and Leo and Glen are the good people. That's a possible theory for Leo's cover.
Other theory is that the cover represents the Abyss how it used to be. (But I like the first theory more! I'm a horrible person...)

PH wikia is confusing me~! I was curious about Lacie so I looked her up on PH wikia. And it said that Lacie is based on the Red Queen, because of her relationship with Glen.
But I thought Alice & Ecila where the 2 Queens?
That's it! Alice = Lacie! (And Glen was in love with Lacie, who is Alice, so that means that Glen... has a weird "type"...)
In the original book, when Alice is at the Mad Tea Party, the Dormouse starts telling a story about 3 sisters called Elsie, Lacie & Tillie who lived down a well ate treacle (he didn't get much further than that...).
Elsie was a refference to Lorina Charlotte (the older sister of the Alice for who the book was written), Lacie was a refference to Alice (Lacie is an anagram of Alice) and Tillie was a refference to Edith Matilda (Alice's younger sister).
Apparently they didn't use male nor female pronouns for Reim in the beginning and he's a bishonen.
They probably hate her, because she gets all of Vincent's attention. And he's actually starting to like her, after she protected him with a SWORD! (Though he did look something like this-> O.O)
Or they hate her, because she's in the way of VincentxGil or VincentxWhateverPoorSoulYouLikeWithVincentHere (In case you have no clue what's written ther: Whatever Poor Soul You Like With Vincent Here...)
But why does nobody, or not much people, seem to like the Canon-pairings? (Example AdaxVincent, OzxAlice, etc)

I live in the Netherlands and only went to Tsunacon (my first con), but Abunai is more known (it was in summer vacation and I was away when it happened). I actually saw a Gil and a Break on Tsunacon and the Gil was actually a girl (which was pretty cool). Though I didn't see Emily. D:

The problem is that the only place where I live where you can buy manga, only sells TokyoPop (which doesn't sells manga anymore), so that means I will have to wait untill February 'till I can buy manga at a con!
Either that or I have to buy manga that's translated to Dutch and that manga sucks
I read books online, but that's because I like to read books the bookstores don't have (AKA, they aren't translated to Dutch). So I download them and read them in Adobe Reader.

D'aw, the con I go to is pretty big, so there's more cosplayers compared to other cons, I guess. But compared to how many vocaloids, naruto's, pokemon's, or other fandoms there are, there aren't much PH cosplayers.

The problem for me is that I live in a city that has no place to buy manga anymore. (Though there's a magazine about manga in the Netherkands now, that you can buy at the supermarket! XD )
It helps with AiW and Trough the Looking Glass if you're too lazy to read it or just don't understand some things from (Like I don't know anything about Latin or Victorian etiquette, so this site is really helpfull to me!)
And apparently Ruskin also has a connection with AiW! (So that's why he looks like Uncle Oscar!)
John Ruskin was the name of the guy that thought the Liddell sisters how to draw! Apparently the Conger Eel in AiW is supposed to be a refference to him!
Some people also think that the gnat in the Looking Glass reffers to him, others think it's supposed to be Dodgson (the original writer).
She'd be even more awesome if she defeats Echo withouth her powers. Maybe THAT would teach the Alice-haters...
I saw a couple of Vocaloids at the con I went to (like a Magnet!Kaiko and DaughterofEvil!Rin) and an L without shoes (respect for that person, because it was pretty cold). Also Bleach and Hetalia (of course), Yu-Gi-Oh, Shugo Chara and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt...
I even saw a Perry the Platypuss! (Don't ask me what he was doing here, I honestly don't know...)
We also thought we saw a Boris, but we were wrong... (I did get vol 3 of the manga and converted a male friend of ours to like the manga...)

There were plenty of vocaloids at the con, but I don't think I saw the ones you saw. There was Synchronicity, JBF, a lot of Matryoshkas, Magnet Rin and Lens, but no Magnet!Kaiko or DoE!Rins, I think. Haha, yuss, there were a lot of hetalia cosplayers (including me). ;v; I didn't see any Shugo Charas, but there were several cosplayers from Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. There was Pedobear, Pocky, Rubik's Cube, and other non-anime cosplayers too xDD;

There were also normal Vocaloids, I saw 1 Len (which was actually a girl) and a couple of Miku's. Matryoshka is actually a pretty easy cosplay...
One of my friends was as someone from Hetalia and we stayed almost the whole con with a group of Hetalia-cosplayers who were behind us in the row. (I confused one of them as Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden...)
Speaking about Rozen Maiden, if I'm right, we also saw a Suigintou. Or someone who was wearing Lolita-clothes and looked liked Suigintou...
There were a couple of girls in Lolita-clothing, one of them even had a matching BJD, though I don't think it counts as a cosplay...
Pedobear?! I don't know if I'd laugh, be scared or praise the person for orginality (I wouldn't think of going as that).

Yeahh, there were lot's of Miku's, and of course, most of them were normal. I should've gotten a picture of the Synchronicity group ;u; All you have to do for Matryoshka is buy a jacket and draw some designs, or make your own jacket. Then there's the wig too.
Ooh, who was your friend cosplaying as? We went to a Hetalia gathering, which was HUGE. There was a half-naked America too. I don't know anything about Rozen Maiden though, so I don't know any of the characters or anything xD
The first year we saw Pedobear, my friends and I hung out with them for awhile...I have no idea why, but I think they started talking to us.

My friend went as Russia. It was kind of funny, because the star didn't want to stay on, so we were arguing with it half of the time.

I saw someone from the other group who was cosplaying as Hungary, but I thought she was Suiseiseki... I can't help it that the clothes look like each other!

Lol, they do look similar. Sometimes I go up to someone and they end up being another character, because their costumes are so similar. It could be kind of awkward, I guess. ;n;
