fanart for the book 'Havemercy' by jaida jones and danielle bennettthis started as fanart out of the frustration that these two don't actually ever get this far in the book
then it turned into intensive anatomy practice
and eventually into photoshop/texture practice
i'm happy
i know there's lot's of things left to learn, but this went well

Great drawing! I'm reading this book right now! I love it. My mom saw this when I was scroling through the search results for 'Havemercy' on DevArt. BUSTED. Sigh. As long as my dad doesn't know. Hal and Royston have such realistic and interesting personalities, especially their flaws. I love Rook and Thom too but they're slightly more conventional protagonists. They both have that stubborn streak that makes you both admired and frustrated at them.

exactly my thoughts! and then i was about to almost forgive him his rod-up-ass from the boat scene when there was the pantry kiss scene and i seriously, seriously thought that he might actually do something there... but no! argh, so frustrating.... wrote a fanfic for that actually, but then that still wasn't enough to console me so then i did this ^^
