Hey guys! I actually colored a picture! It's silly, but I'm just extremely excited that I got to do this today. I haven't frivolously colored anything in a long time. Sad I know. But I was flipping through all of my art folders yesterday to collect a selection of art for a possible client (Yes! I have a job!! So syked!!!) and I stumbled on to about 5 or ten sketches I did a long time ago that had me thinking "Whaa?! Why didn't I color this one?! Ooh, that's cute! How could I for get this one?!" So I decided to take a day off and color one. CX

I sketched this well over a year ago, but thought it'd be fun since it kind of reminded me of the new fanfic =ReplicantAngel just wrote and submitted. I'm still getting the jist of it, but it's basically about Sesshomaru being a street fighter, so just consider this a fanart for it. You know, what's also funny is the fact that the original sketch was inspired by another one of her fanfics "The once and future Taiyoukai" (my favorites of favorites ^///^) since his hair is braided most of the time. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Please read it! It's made of awesome.

Anyways, I had never finished the sketch completely, but instead of finishing it from where it was I ended up redoing/improving quite a few things to match my current style. Like the hair, face shape, anatomy etc.. It was a pretty fun way to see just how much I've improved since a year ago. I never could figure out what kind of clothes to draw on Kagome before, but her whole outfit just jumped out at me at work this morning, so I was pretty excited. I also stumbled onto a new shading technique with this one, so overall I just had a blast coloring it.

btw, if you're wondering what Sesshomaru is eating, your guess is as good as mine. XD I'm just surprised he's EATING period. And with a spoon no less! Hehe, the thought that they're Japanese never really registered in my mind until months after I drew this I think. Otherwise I would have given him chopsticks. CX Yeah, I'm retarded. Overall though, I must say I'm just tickled with this one. The only thing that saddens me is the fact that Kagome is the one braiding his hair and not me. CX
