Raid has the ability to control light, a power that runs in the blood of his family. With this he can create light constructs, solidified light, of various weapons. His preferred is a foil, throwing knives, and a wall to act as a shield. He can create anything he wants with it, but he wont be able to put it into use if he doesn't know how, so he keeps to his three weapons. He can create a weapon and give it to someone else to support them, but if they aren't a photokenetic, then the weapon will only last for roughly five minutes. He can throw balls of light which he can use to damage enemies from afar, but can be reflected back by mirrors, and goes straight through transparent objects, so don't expect him to be breaking windows with this. He can also create holograms to distract people, but will disappear if touched, and it takes quite a bit of energy to create. His body can also flash brightly to blind others for a few moments, or longer depending on how sensitive the other is to light

Raid Lumine keeps a very calm atmosphere around him, and tries his best to keep his cool under the most pressuring of situations. He keeps a very gentleman look and stature at all times, thus very respectful and generous, along with the fact that he is shown to be very compassionate, and is good for getting advice. He hates being left behind when it comes to news, so he has the tendency to try and stuff alcohol down one’s throat if he finds out that they have information he doesn't know. He takes responsibility in everything he does, and is very willing to take the blame if it meant that no one else had to, making him loyal, but also carry to much on his shoulders from time to time.

He tries his best to hide his negative traits to not show what he was like since a child and young teen, but it can be seen once one gets closer to him and during battle. He has an arrogant attitude during battle, and tends to play pretty dirty, with a few sarcastic remarks. Also impatient, he cant wait in one place for too long, which makes it hard for him to keep his image. He doesn't like being offered food, he thinks it would be rude to take it, but secretly he loves food and if no one is around he will binge on food. Raid prefers to work alone, or at least with only one other person, more and he feels awkward. Despite his richness, he is rather cautious about what he spends it on, considering his family went through a debt and lost most of their money, he is afraid of it happening again

Raid was born into a very rich, snow owl family, with his father (Bert Lumine) being a surgeon, and his mother (Harriet Lumine), who had quit her job of being a lawyer to raise a family since their father would be very busy, and she would be busier if she also had an important job. Raid was also born as the second child, having an older brother (Travis Lumine) who was roughly seven years older. Raid was born as a very rebellious and energetic child, almost the opposite of what his older brother was. His mother tried her best to discipline her younger son, and hoped to have be like his brother. He also had his light powers since he was born, an ability that ran through the blood of his family, but was seriously unskilled in the beginning

5-10 years

Raid never went to school, instead was raised at his mansion and home schooled by his mom, and his dad if he was ever around at home, alongside Travis. The young snow owl was slowly growing jealous of his older brother, since he was the one getting all of the attention and praise, which his young mind believed he deserved. He studied harder as the years went on, and it became a competition. As he was reaching ten years old though, he noticed that his parents were becoming more and more worried, and less items were being bought, he didn't think too much of it though.

10-15 years

Raid continued his studies, and began to add martial arts practice and fencing to his list, and continued to advance his light manipulation. He also had two younger twins, a boy (Oliver Lumine), and a girl (Ruby). By the time Raid turned twelve, Travis left the house, with his parents objecting strongly, and that was when they really began to have problems. The family began to fall under debt due to them spending money without ever thinking about it, and their own greed. They began to grow desperate, and began asking for money from other families. Raid thought it was all because his brother left, and sought to change himself to be like his brother to help his family, or at least make them feel better, reluctantly. He began to follow his mother’s orders, and tried his best to keep his parents happy, a sad face was the one thing he couldn't stand. This continued for three years, until they finally got help from one family, the musk-ox family, Enlenth. Raid came along with them for support if they needed it during the meeting, and that was where he met the first person he ever truly met, Scarlet. It was a rather terrible first meeting though. The young musk-ox would stare at him for hours and throw seeds at him from time to time. Raid thought she was the weirdest person he ever met, but liked her quirkiness, and wondered who else in the world acts in a similar manner. The family was able to gain some money to hold on, and his mother got back to her job of being a lawyer, meaning Raid was left alone to take care of his younger twin siblings.

15-20 years

The family was quickly regaining money, but while the parents were working, Raid had to learn how to cook (with many failures) and take care of kids, and began to understand his mother’s frustrations. He had know idea what he wanted to be once he grew up, which was something he had to think of quickly through his teen years, then took interest in becoming a bartender, which was the job his grandfather had and what his father was before becoming a surgeon. The idea of serving drinks to various different people appealed to him, and thought it would be a great way to meet other people, people as different as Scarlet. He also wanted a job as well to help his own family. Whenever he put his siblings to sleep, he would study drinks and practice before going to bed himself. He had his next steps planned out very well, but remembered how his parents reacted to his older brother leaving the house. He couldn't risk the same situation, and wanted the freedom his younger self inside him wanted, so once the family was at it’s peak once again when Raid turned eighteen, he left the house, leaving behind only a note about what he will be doing. He looked behind him at the mansion he barely ever left, then looked straight ahead of him to the open world he never knew about. Once he began his career of being a bartender, he met a fiery young woman, who also introduced him to her own friends. He acted a bit cold and distant to them, with them being his first time really socialising with others, but learned to warm up to them, and speak to others without much problems, although he still didn't like too many people.

20-current time

Raid just continued working at his own bar through his twenties, but after breaking up a fight that broke out within his bar, he realised that his years of studying martial arts and polishing his light powers were never used to the extent he hoped for, so looked for anybody or group that could use his battling knowledge. He found two, the Legion, and the Rebels. He still felt guilty about leaving his parents behind, just like brother did, whom he eventually did become, so went with the group that he thought would be approved by his family, and left with the Legion
