Ohh, I've only seen a bit of it so far, but Gravity Falls does look to be awesome for sure (and it restores my faith somewhat that there can be more quality animated programs in the future). x3 I'd say you captured the feeling of the series pretty well in this picture; both Dipper and Mabel look awesome, and the forest surrounding them is the perfect mixture of dark and creepy. >w> Plus that they're being chased by something mysterious only adds more to the piece. 8D

Thank you! I spent ages trying to draw a bat in there for them to be running from, but, in the end, it was really close to halloween already and I've got a few things I need done, so some mysterious ghost fog had to be called in. |D (Personally, I think a new age of good cartoons seems to be on the horizen. Between MLP, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Motorcity, there's at least the START of something)
