Yay! I finally uploaded a picture! Hooray for me!

Anyway, this is a picture for a future event in my PMD2: Explorers of Fate story. It revolves around the story of Sunburst, a beautiful Quilava that is kidnapped from her kingdom in the Northern Desert under order from Kadabra, who wishes to rule over her kingdom himself.

She is saved by Team Legend and requests they return her to her kingdom. As they journey to the Northern Desert, they learn more about her heritage and Sunburst accidentally discovers that Carlos the Pikachu was once human. She eventually falls in love with him, much to Sandra the Eevee's jealousy.

After escaping an ambush by Thrax the Toxicroak and his cronies (consisting of Raptor the Staraptor, a black male Pikachu, and a female Glaceon), they make it into the Desert Kingdom. They meet up with Teri the Buizel and Mark the Lucario, Sunburst's childhood friend and personal trainer. Mark tells them what happened after Sunburst vanished and they come up with a plan to defeat Kadabra.

Meanwhile, Kadabra's two warriors (Tooth the Feraligatr and Claw the Tyranitar) travel to Treasure Town and kidnap both Joy and Michael to use against Team Legend. Kadabra announces that he wants a full surrender or Joy and Michael would die. Teri sneaks in to rescue them, only to be ambushed by Thrax and his cronies. Carlos comes to his rescue and they both escape the castle.

After coming up with a plan, they storm the castle and make it to the top, which is none other than a battle arena! Tooth and Claw emerge to battle them, only to have both repeled by Mark's Bone Club. Thrax and his cronies attack, leaving Carlos alone to battle Kadabra.

Meanwhile, Sunburst manages to break Joy and Michael free of their cage and the trio races up to the top to assist Carlos. They arrive just in time to see Kadabra putting his Psychic to good use--by throwing Carlos out a window! Joy saves him with her tail and Sunburst, finally having enough of her kingdom being destroyed, attacks Kadabra with all she has. In the end, Sunburst and Carlos attack together with a Volt Tackle wreathed in flames to put an end to Kadabra's merciless rule.

After peace is restored and Sunburst is returned to her proper place as princess, she asks Team Legend to remain with her as her personal bodyguards. Carlos declines, replying that he would never get his memories back if he stayed in a castle all day. Then Sunburst finally comes to a new decision...

Yes, this picture has some spoilers for the future. At the bottom right, that's the black Pikachu. He's holding a picture and the head beside him is David the Pichu (Joy's son that was kidnapped). Wonder how he got that? And that ball Sandra's forming? Shadow Ball. You'll know why soon. As for the Minun hugging Joy, that shows what's in the egg. I couldn't leave him out! Just so you know, Carlos names him. The Buizel and Glaceon are having an Ice Beam fight and they're tied (Raptor's avoiding it, too). The scarf Carlos is holding in his right paw is something Sunburst gave him as a gift.

Things I hate? Kadabra! He was freaking hard to draw! Arg! I hate him so much right now! I had to use reference for almost all of these guys! Pikachu, Pichu, and Lucario were drawn from memory but I needed reference for everything else, including Sunburst's cloak. I stole reference from my Legend of Zelda manga.

Things I like? Tyranitar, Feraligatr, and Sunburst! I've never drawn any of those guys before and they came out beautiful! I love them so much! And I love the look on Carlos' face, too. Awesome!

I hope you enjoyed the picture. It took me four hours to complete and I may color it one day. But not now. My hand it too dead currently.

My next picture will be for you, Piplup-Luv, as payment for the beautiful picture of Shelly and Shivani you drew for me. Just request whatever you want and I'll draw it as best I can. Piplups rule!

EDIT!!! 11/23/09--Since my series has evolved since I first made this picture, Luv the Piplup and Zuzu the green Zubat will also be kidnapped from Treasure Town along with Joy and Michael. The black Pikachu will not be joining Thrax in his attack against Team Legend due to his amnesia. The Glaceon, Snowflake, will most likely have her identity revealed unless I decide against it.

EDIT!!! 1/2/10--I have decided to give Kadabra a name, since that has been bugging me recently. He will be known as Kadar, which means powerful in Arabic.
